‘Azerbaijan should diversify its economy to secure sustainable development’
(Newswires, August 8) – To secure sustainable development, Azerbaijan should diversify its economy by developing the non-oil sectors, World Bank (WB) experts said in Baku on Monday.
The experts see greater perspectives for Azerbaijan in agricultural field.
According to WB experts, the country’s education system needs institutional reforms.
They said that "the draft law on competitiveness is currently under discussion in the parliament… Azerbaijan should raise the productivity to increase the competitiveness of its economy".
