BAKU – The Azerbaijani-Turkish Business Forum will be held in Ankara on Friday, the Turkish embassy in Baku said.

The Azerbaijani delegation will be headed by Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev. The Turkish delegation will be headed by Minister of State for Foreign Trade Zafer Caglayan.

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey amounted to $942.1 million in 2010, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee reported.

According to Ankara's Chamber of Commerce, Turkey's direct investments in Azerbaijan reached $3.8 billion.

"The most investments, hitting $3.6 billion, fall to the energy sector," the head of the Chamber of Commerce Sinan Aygun said earlier. Turkey has invested $170 million in the communications sector of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan is next only to the Netherlands on the volume of Turkish investments abroad.
