`Single window` to simplify Azeri customs rules
BAKU – President Ilham Aliyev enacted a decree Friday to improve social security of Azerbaijan’s customs committee employees and simplify customs regulations.
According to the decree, 25 percent of the funds transferred to the customs’ non-budget fund will be added to the customs officers’ monthly wages.
Also, a "single window" system is to be applied in the registration of imported vehicles by customs bodies and processing of documents.
Moreover, all customs payments will be made only through banks or plastic cards, the presidential decree says.
Government agencies are to meet the requirements within three months.
