ICT revenues to grow 30 pct in 2010 - Azeri minister
BAKU – The growth rate of revenues in Azerbaijan’s communications and information technologies sector will make up 30 percent in 2010, the communications minister has said.
Ali Abbasov said the figure exceeds average indicators in the world three-fold.
"As of the first nine months of 2010 alone, growth in this sector topped 33 percent and by the end of the year the [average annual] figure is to make up 30 percent."
A recent report from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) rated Azerbaijan among top ten countries with a dynamically developing ICT sector.
