Iranian official’s Baku visit aims to boost ties
BAKU – Iranian Vice President's Deputy for Economic Affairs Ali Agha Mohammadi arrived in Baku on Monday in an effort to give an incentive to economic relations with Azerbaijan.
"We share common history," Mohammadi told reporters. "I believe bilateral relations should be expanded further. We are also keen on increasing the trade turnover between Iran and Azerbaijan."
Mohammadi noted, however, that no documents will be signed during the Iranian delegation’s visit, and discussions will focus on ensuring the enforcement of previously signed economic agreements.
