"During the meeting, Azerbaijan and Egypt will focus on the development of cooperation providing competitive advantage," Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Fayza Abul Naga was quoted by the media as saying.
The minister said the key areas of bilateral cooperation span from healthcare, including production of medicine and vaccines, to civil aviation, construction, oil and gas, telecommunications and information technologies.
She said the agenda will also include joint investments in tourism, agriculture, higher education and scientific research.
The commission, which was set up in Cairo in 2005, held its last meeting in Baku in 2007.
