HP presents two laptop in Azerbaijan
Hewlett Packard, a leading computer manufacturer, presented two
laptop models of the HP Pavilion series in Azerbaijan on Thursday,
announcing the entry of the HP Pavilion dv6-2145er and HP Pavilion
2150er computers to the domestic market.
Achim Kuttler, Vice President of the HP group of companies, said the company was first introducing the models in Azerbaijan due to its being the most prospective market in the region.
Rufat Hajialibayov, head of the HP representation in Azerbaijan, said there is a high demand for HP Pavilion laptops imported to the country by retailers from Asia. The HP’s service center in Azerbaijan will provide HP Pavilion laptops to be sold here through official dealerships with a warranty.
Hajialibayov also said licensed Microsoft software is installed on the computers of these series.
Rasim Bakhshi, the HP personal systems group’s manager for sales and market development in Azerbaijan, predicts that the release of the HP Pavilion series will allow to at least double laptop sales in the country. "Initially, we intend to put only two models on sale, but by the end of the year the number of models and the scope of products being offered is expected to expand."
According to Bakhshi, HP Pavilion dv6-2145er and HP Pavilion 2150er computers will cost Azerbaijani consumers 700 to 1,000 manats (up to $1,250).*
