Azerbaijan, South Korea may co-produce cars
Azerbaijan and South Korea may establish a joint venture
operating in the carmaking industry, South Korea’s Minister of
Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, Chung Jong-hwan, has said on
a visit to Baku.
Jong-hwan noted that the local and regional markets should be
researched for the purpose. According to him, launching joint
production of cars requires sufficient demand not only in the
Azerbaijani market but also in the neighboring countries.
Establishing a JV would be possible if this research yields fruit,
the minister said.*
