The weekly turnover at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) on Feb. 4-8 amounted to 258.19 million manats, Trend reports with reference to the BSE Feb. 11.
Most of the operations accounted for the placement of notes worth 248.6 million manats of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA). A total of 2.5 million notes at a price of 99.4388 manats were placed.
During the week, transactions on the US dollar bonds accounted for $246,300 (418,700 manats), while transactions on the manat bonds accounted for 105,400 manats.
Transactions on the US dollar bonds accounted for Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR and investment company Invest-AZ, while transactions on the manat bonds accounted for Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry and BOKT Embafinans LLC.
During the last week, transactions on shares worth a total of 32,500 manats were also concluded in the secondary market of the BSE.
