Management changes in Azerbaijani AXA MBASK insurance company

Yavuz Olken has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of the Azerbaijani insurance company AXA MBASK, Trend reports referring to the company's website.
Previously, the chairman of the board of directors was Eldar Garibov.
Prior to the appointment, Olken was a member of the board of directors.
Moreover, Christophe Knaub has became a board member. At the same time, Elkhan Garibli is also a member of the board. Overall, the number of board members (together with the chairman) was reduced from five to three.
MBASK Insurance Company has been operating since 1992. It is one of the first private insurance companies in Azerbaijan. In 2010, one of the largest insurance companies in the world - AXA Group acquired a controlling stake (51 percent) of MBASK insurance company through its subsidiary 'AXA Seguros Generales, S.A., De Seguros Y Reaseguros' (Spain).
The authorized capital of the company was 19.73 million manats in 2017.
