Daily turnover at Baku Stock Exchange totals almost 8M manats

The daily turnover at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) amounted to 7.9 million manats on Jan. 7, 2019, Trend reports with reference to the BSE Jan. 8.
Thus, REPO operations on the bonds of Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry totaling 4.3 million manats were carried out Jan. 7.
In the secondary market of the BSE, deals were also concluded on the shares of Yevlakh-Sarnishin OJSC totaling 196 manats.
The daily trading value in the secondary bond market exceeded 3.6 million manats. The trading was held both on the US dollar bonds of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR ($114,000) and manat bonds of Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry (3.4 million manats). A total of 16 deals were concluded.
