Azeri tycoon to open seven-star hotel in Turkey

Azerbaijani tycoon, president of the Palmali group
of companies, Mubariz Mansimov, will open one of the world`s most
topnotch hotels in Istanbul.
With an investment to the tune of 100 million euros in the HSBC administration building in the Levent district, which has sustained a bombing, Mansimov will turn it into seven-star ``The Edition Hotel.``
Also, arrangements have been made to open at the facility a famed Cipriani restaurant like the one available in London. Mansimov has met with Arrigo Cipriani, owner of the international corporation Cipriani SA, to hold discussions on the issue.
The first-ever Edition-type hotel in the world will be opened according to the agreement signed by Palmali Holding and US-based hotel giant Marriott International.
The opening is scheduled for April 2010. In addition to 80 suites, a night club and spa will be available.
