New investments allow realizing innovative projects in Azerbaijan

Government of Azerbaijan encourages development in all sectors of the economy, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade said Oct. 25 at a plenary session in the 6th Baku International Forum.
The deputy minister told the participants of the event that the High Technologies Park is operating in Azerbaijan, and added that at present Azerbaijan is one of the countries that have conquered space.
"This is an excellent achievement for a developing country," Velizade said.
The deputy minister said the opportunity for the country's population to access the internet is growing every year.
Velizade noted that the innovative development and attraction of new investments allow the implementation of innovative projects in Azerbaijan.
