Azerbaijan's financial regulator picks its medical insurer

A-Group insurance company won a tender for providing medical insurance services to employees of Azerbaijan’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA), the newspaper “Azerbaijan” reported Jan. 25.
A-Group insurance company was established in 1995. A-Group activities cover medical insurance, personal accident insurance, property insurance, motor insurance, vehicle owners’ third party liability insurance, travel insurance, medical malpractice insurance, etc.
In 2017, A-Group collected insurance premiums worth 12.69 million
manats, and the company’s payments amounted to 8.1 million manats,
according to the FIMSA.
