Prices dropped further in March
Prices continued dropping in Azerbaijan in March,
the chairman of the State Statistics Committee (SSC), Arif Valiyev,
told a news conference.
Valiyev said that prices had fallen 0.7% last month. The decrease was mainly observed on consumer goods and service tariffs.
Deflation was also observed in January and February, Valiyev said.
Valiyev added that inflation stood at 8.3%, compared to March 2008.
