The fourth round of the 42nd Chess Olympiad is held at the Baku Crystal Hall on 5 September. The press service of the Olympiad reports that the chairman of the Chess Olympiad Organizing Committee, Mr. Yagub Eyyubov, visited the Olympiad venue and watched some games. Approaching the Azerbaijan men's and women's teams, Mr. Eyyubov wished them good luck.
In the fourth round, Azerbaijan's first team plays against Romania, the second team is facing the IBCA (International Braille Chess Association) team, while the third team plays against Turkmenistan.
The women's first team faces Romania, the second team plays against Italy, and the third faces Brazil.
The Baku Chess Olympiad brings together a record number of countries. A total of 181 teams participate in the open section and 142 in the women's section.
