Armenians protest against attacks on activist

Activists of the New Armenia organization held a protest rally in front of the police building in Yerevan.
A group of citizens gathered outside the police building, condemning the beating of a member of New Armenia Suzy Gevorgyan and demanding the police to resolve this case as soon as possible.
The police did not allow the protesters to approach the police building as they blocked the sidewalk.
Gevorgsyan, an activist of the New Armenia, living in Russia, was attacked by two men on January 5. Gevorgyan links the attack with her political views and says that such things cannot frighten her.
