Book on Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan published
A book by German scientist Michael Reinhard Hess titled “Tanks in paradise: Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict” has been published in Germany, Azertac reported.
The book highlights the history of Azerbaijan`s Nagorno-Karabakh region, as well as resettlement of the Armenians from Iran and Ottoman territories to Azerbaijan`s lands after the Turkmenchay Treaty, the Armenians` territorial claims against Azerbaijan, and the occupation of Azerbaijan`s lands by Armenia in 1991-1993.
A subchapter is dedicated to the Khojaly massacre perpetrated by the Armenians against the Azerbaijanis.
Reinhard Hess says the return of the occupied territories to Azerbaijan is an immediate condition for solving the problem.
“The recent horrible incident in April demonstrated that Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains an open wound in Europe`s wing,” the author concludes.
