Red Bull will organize another fun event in Azerbaijan. For the second consecutive year, Red Bull will hold Shakh Carpet event which will gather together the most joyful and quick-witted young people from across Azerbaijan.

Popular ski resort Shahdag will be the place where people will fly, jump and ride their handmade “carpets” on February 8.

The competition presupposes that the costumed participants, equipped with any attachments for descending the mountain will move down a slope length of 80 meters up a small trampoline of 80 cm height ending in a swimming pool with cold water!

The most interesting part of the contest is to create the main element: The carpet.

People who want to attend the contest should focus on concept of their team: To build a device to slip by a carpet. Twenty of the most talented teams will be selected to participate in the contest.

At the moment, 15 teams have already registered. Last year, the competition gathered 23 teams.

Each team should consist of 2-3 people, who can show their performance in five minutes.

The funniest carpet jumpers will be selected by a jury based on three criteria: the best jump, the creativity of the costumes and performances and the audience sympathy.

All the safety precautions will be taken into account during the event.

Shahdag complex located 30 km north of the town of Gusar, 2,500 meters above sea level, is outstanding because of its rich nature, crystal-clear air, and favorable climate with a temperatures ranging between minus 20-22 degrees in winter and 20 degrees in summer. All these provide the modern tourism complex with high standards.
