Azerbaijani GM tops Gideon Japhet Memorial
Azerbaijani grandmaster Arkadij Naiditsch tops the Gideon Japhet Memorial ACP Open Chess Tournament in Jerusalem, Israel, Azertac reported.
Naiditsch earned 3 points along with Russian Semen Dvoirys after three rounds in the A tournament which has 10,000 shekel money prize.
The Azerbaijani GM will next take on Tamir Nabaty.
The 7-round tournament brings together 50 chess players, as well as 12 grandmasters.
