National gymnasts compete at World Cup

Azerbaijani gymnasts competed at the World Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics held in Kazan, Russia on July 8-10, Azertac reported.
Marina Durunda ranked the 7th, while Jale Piriyeva finished 19th in the all-around event among 36 competitors.
In the apparatus finals Durunda ranked 6th with a ribbon, and 7th with clubs and 8th with a hoop and a ball.
The winner of the 22nd Championship of Azerbaijan, silver medalist of the first European games, the bronze medalist of the European championship 2015, Durunda will soon represent the country at the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in August.
