Azerbaijani boxers bring 5 medals and 5 Olympic berths from Turkey
Azerbaijani boxers have brought home a clutch of five medals, including three golds from the European Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Samsun, Turkey.
The gold medals came from Yana Alekseevna (60kg), Lorenzo Sotomayor (64kg) and Javid Chalabiyev (56kg).
Mahammadrasul Majidov (+91kg) grabbed the silver medal, while Abdulkadir Abdullayev took the bronze medal of the tournament in the 91kg weight division.
The Azerbaijani boxers also booked five spots in the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
