Azerbaijani karate fighter wins silver in Japan
Azerbaijan`s Shahin Atamov (+84kg) has won the silver medal at the Karate1 Premier League in Okinawa, Japan after losing to Iranian Sajad Ganjzadeh in the final.
Shintaro Kuniyoshi of Japan and South African Troy Sutter won the bronze medals of the tournament.
The Premier League brought together 207 karate fighters from 38 countries, AzerTac state news agency reported.
