Winners of “Media Cup” cycling event announced

The Azerbaijan Cycling Federation held “Media Cup” cycling competition on July 22, dedicated to the 140 anniversary of the National Media Day.
Organized by “Coca-Cola” company and “2 Teker” bike store, the competition brought together 30 media representatives.
According to the first stage 12 cyclists got chance to compete in the semi-final. Following the semi-final, which was held in two groups, six participants reached the final.
The winner of the three-meter final stage became Ramal Alakbarov, the staff member of the “Aile TV”. The second place went to “Space” TV representative Fuad Atakishiyev, while Vusal Mirzayev, the correspondent of the “idmanxeber.com” web-site placed third.
The winners were awarded with valuable gifts from the sponsors. Moreover, the Federation presented the winners bikes.
