Azerbaijan Photographers Association announces "Open Doors' Day"

Azerbaijan Photographers Association held the traditional "Open Doors' Day" in an event in the Centre of Modern Art in Baku on July 12.
The event announced the winners of "My country in Eastern partnership" and "Circle" photo contests. Addressing the event, Spokesman of Azerbaijan Photographers Association Mirnaib Hasanoglu spoke about the goals and tasks of the photo contests.
The contest "My country in Eastern partnership" was devoted to Day of Photographers - July 12 that marked 175 anniversary of photography. It was part of "SAY CHEESE!" project: "Family photo album of Eastern partnership".
54 photographers took part in the contest where amateurs competed with professionals, he said.
The winners of "My country in Eastern partnership" photo contest were Alizaman Jafarov, Ali Khudiyev, Natavan Vaklhabova, Gulnar Salimova.
The winners got the opportunity to take part in the five-day seminar of photographers to be held in Belarus, Ukraine, Moldavia and Georgia.
Also, the winners of the "Circle" photo contest, in which 35 photographers presented, were announced. Elza Sultanova, Rashad Mekhtiyev and Kamil Adgezalov were named as the authors of the best photos.
