Azerbaijan`s Stadnik wins European crown
Azerbaijani female wrestler Maria Stadnik has become a European champion for the fourth time after climbing on to the winner`s rostrum in Vantaa, Finland, AzerTag state news agency reported.
Stadnik secured gold defeating Ukrainian Natalia Pulkovska in the 48kg final. Also, Irina Netreba claimed silver for Azerbaijan in the 97kg class.
In the men`s event, Khetag Gazyumov took silver in the 58kg division.
