Azerbaijan`s football club Qarabag Agdam will take on Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Roma in the UEFA Champions League group stage as the draw was held in Monaco.
The schedule of matches is as following:
September 12: "Chelsea" - "Qarabag "
September 27: "Qarabag " - "Roma"
October 18: "Atletico" - "Qarabag "
October 31: "Qarabag" - "Atletico"
November 22: "Qarabag" - "Chelsea"
December 5: "Roma" - "Qarabag"
Qarabag FC became a first Azerbaijani football club to qualify for the Champions League group stage after beating Danish Kobenhavn, Azertac reported.
Although beaten 2-1 in Copenhagen, Qarabag go through as the Azerbaijani club won the first match 1-0 in Baku last week.
Kobenhavn`s Federico Santander opened the score in the 45th minute. Dino Ndlovu scored his fourth goal in the qualifying round when he grabbed Qarabag`s equalizer in the 63rd minute. Andrija Pavlović`s goal three minutes later was not enough for the Danish club to qualify.
