Azerbaijani MP became World Champion

President of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation Adil Aliyev, who is also member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, won a gold medal at the World Kickboxing Championships in Italy.
The tournament brought together 35 kickboxers, Milli.Az reported.
Aliyev secured the title of the world champion after defeating his Romanian opponent.
Adil Aliyev was appointed a President of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation in 2000. He entered the Parliament in 2005 after leaving his job as a district police chief, and he is a current member of the Permanent Committee on Defense and Security issues.
