Azerbaijani wrestlers advance at Rio 2016
Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers continue their performances at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Rovshan Bayramov (weight category up to 59 kg) advanced to the semifinals at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Bayramov gained a victory over the representative of USA David Jesse.
Another Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Elvin Mursaliyev (weight category up to 75 kg) advanced to the 1/4 finals. He gained a victory over Kazakh Doszhan Kartikov.
Fifty-six athletes are representing Azerbaijan at the 2016 Summer Olympics, underway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The games, which kicked off on Aug. 5, will end on Aug. 21, and will be followed by the 15th Summer Paralympic Games on Sept. 7-18.
