EU’s Mogherini arrives in Tehran
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini has arrived in Tehran, Iran, heading a high-ranking economic and political delegation.
Mogherini is scheduled to take part in a joint press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif later today, IRNA news agency reported Apr. 16.
Officials from Iran and the EU are expected to discuss cooperation in various fields, including climate, environment, economic and energy fields.
Industry and nuclear technology, agriculture, shipping and fishery, as well as drafting a roadmap on cooperation between Iran and the EU are among other issues to be discussed during the meeting.
Earlier, TASS news agency reported that the sides will discuss the possibility of importing gas from the Islamic Republic.
