Turkish minister hopes for resumption of Moscow-Ankara bonds
Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication Binali
Yildirim expressed his hope for a quick resumption of relations
between Ankara and Moscow, Anadolu agency reported on February
29.
The crisis in bilateral relations is unfavorable for both
countries, he noted, adding that Ankara stands for the
normalization of relations with Russia.
The minister said that a significant growth in all spheres of
relations between Turkey and Russia was observed until this
crisis.
The relations between Russia and Turkey have deteriorated following
the SU-24 incident. Following this, Russian president signed a
decree on measures to ensure the national security and special
