Uzbekistan, U.S. agree on agenda of bilateral talks
Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Pamela Spratlen discussed the schedule and agenda of the Uzbek-U.S. contacts planned for 2016 at various levels in Tashkent, the Uzbek foreign ministry reported.
The sides also exchanged views on the results of the Uzbek-U.S. political consultations held in January 2016, other meetings and talks.
During the sixth round of the Uzbek-U.S. political consultations held on January 19-21 in Washington, the sides summed up results of the interaction for the period after the fifth round of political consultations held in December 2014 in Tashkent.
The state and prospects of cooperation in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian and other spheres were considered.
