Joint Uzbek-German enterprise to allocate $37M for expansion of cable production
Joint Uzbek-German enterprise Deutsche Kabel AG Tashkent will forward $36.5 million in 2015 to expansion of cable production, the "Uzeltekhprom" joint-stock company, which unites Uzbekistan's electro-technical industry, told Trend.
During this year the joint production intends to implement two projects - to put into operation a new production of twister and covered conductors, with a design capacity of 2,860 kilometers a year, worth $28 million, and a project of modernization of a cable-conductor production, valued at $8.6 million.
The financing of the projects is carried out from the own funds of the main shareholder, German Falk-Porsche-Technik GmbH.
