Ireland's Select Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade submitted the Georgian-EU treaty the Dáil Éireann lower house of the Irish Parliament, where the vast majority of legislators voted to ratify the AA deals with Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.
The ratification process is going ahead also in other EU member-states.
The European Parliament has given its approval to the EU-Georgia on December 18, 2014.
Some 12 member-states of EU - Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Croatia, Romania, Estonia, Slovakia, Malta, Latvia, Lithuania and Bulgaria - have already ratified the AA deals between Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine so far.
The EU association deals need to be ratified by all 28 EU member countries before they can be fully implemented.
