Uzbekistan, China join efforts to combat terrorism

The issues of strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in combating terrorism were discussed during the visit of the Chairman of Uzbekistan's National Security Service Rustam Inoyatov to China.

Inoyatov and the member of Political Bureau, Secretary of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of China's Central Committee, Meng Jianzhu also discussed the development of cooperation in ensuring security, a representative of Uzbekistan's law enforcement agencies told Trend Agency.

The sides said that the cooperation in the law enforcement sphere and ensuring security is the main element of the Uzbek-Chinese relations.

They stressed that the two countries should strengthen their joint fight against terrorism, jointly respond to various threats and challenges and ensure regional security and stability.
