PM Garibashvili takes initiative to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili took an initiative to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, where the confrontation between the center and several regions is continuing.

Garibashvili made this statement at a government meeting on August 26.

He also asked about Labor, Health and Social Affairs Minister David Sergeenko's visit to Ukraine on August 27. Minister Sergeenko said he intends to define the range of Ukraine's needs in the health sector arising due to the ongoing military operations.

Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri , in turn, noted that Tbilisi will be visited by a delegation from Ukraine's Finance Ministry. The delegation will get acquainted with the experience of their Georgian colleagues.

Garibashvili also instructed the minister of finance to provide all possible assistance and support to his Ukrainian colleagues.
