Georgia offers financial benefits for investors

Representatives of the Georgian Diaspora will receive financial benefits in case of investing in Georgia.
The news was announced by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the conference dedicated to Diaspora Day on May 27.
Garibashvili believes that the country should use the potential of Georgian Diaspora properly. He further noted that he tasked the economic team to start working on the initiative which implies financial benefits.
"Georgians living abroad are able to make a great contribution to the development of the country by sharing and using their skills and best experience in business and public sectors," Garibashvili said. "Diaspora should always feel the support of the state and the government is working in this direction."
Garibashvili added that the government continues assisting Diaspora organizations abroad, for which 400,000 lari ($226,022) was allocated from the state reserve fund in 2013.
