The Co-investment Fund of Georgia (GCF) will initiate projects worth $1.150 million in 2014.
Fund's head Giorgi Bachiashvili told journalists that a few more projects may be added to the already planned list.
"Also, I would like to stress that this amount will be used fully not only this year. Projects of such an amount will be initiated," Bachiashvili said on January16.
At this stage, the Co-investment Fund approved one project on establishing an enterprise for processing milk. The fund will implement it jointly with the Ukrainian Tera food company and invest $50 million.
GCF is a $6 billion private investment fund, with the mandate to provide investors with unique access through a private equity structure to opportunities in Georgia's fastest growing industries and sectors. The fund was presented in Tbilisi on September 2013.
