Turkey, Iran can increase trade turnover: envoy
Turkey and Iran are able to increase the trade turnover to $35 billion in the coming years.
Iranian ambassador to Turkey Alireza Bikdeli made the remark at the Iranian-Turkish economic forum in Istanbul on December 11.
Foreign trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $21.9 billion in 2012.
Despite of the embargo against Iran, Ankara has always maintained political and economic relations with Iran, Bikdeli said.
Iran lost $8 billion in trade relations with Turkey because of
the embargo, the diplomat said earlier.
