Trend.az tops ranking of news sites in South Caucasus
Day.Az Media Company presents the ranking of news sites of South
Caucasus countries in the Thematic Citation Index (TIC) from large
Russian search engine Yandex.ru
Thematic Citation Index of Yandex determines the "credibility" of
the resource based on qualitative characteristics of references to
it from other websites. This qualitative characteristic is called
the "weight" of reference by Yandex. The recalculation of the TIC
takes place once a month.
As of Nov.12, 2013, the ranking of news sites of Azerbaijan,
Georgia and Armenia on the Thematic Citation Index is as
follows:
