Georgian President meets with MEP
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has met with Members of the European Parliament (MEP) and representatives of the various parties in Brussels and thanked them for their active and fruitful co-operation, and special support for Georgia in European integration, the Georgian presidential administration reported.
The Georgian President delivered the governmental awards to MEPs.
On the eve of Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius MEPs paid special attention to the progress reached by the Georgian leadership. They expressed hope that Georgia will not deviate from the chosen European course but continue the progress achieved by the previous government.
According to MEPs, lack of selective justice in the country is of great importance.
