Kazakhstan, U.S. mull fight against terrorism
Kazakh Prosecutor General Ashat Daulbaev and U.S. Charge d'Affairs John Ordway discussed the issues of fighting against extremism and terrorism.
During the meeting an interested negotiation and exchange of views on the issues of mutual interest took place.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of interaction, discussed prospects of further cooperation within the cooperation agreements signed earlier. They also discussed a large spectrum of issues including in the sphere of fighting against transnational crime, terrorism and extremism.
The Prosecutor General also spoke about the main directions of supervisory and human rights activities of Kazakhstan's prosecutor bodies, emphasizing that protection of human rights is the subject of prosecutors' special attention.
The parties approved their interest in further expansion and strengthening of interaction spheres.
