Iran establishes center for treating aftereffects of nuclear incidents
A center for treating the aftereffects of various nuclear,
chemical and radioactive incidents, was established in Iran's
Isfahan province, IRNA reported.
The center would function for both men and women.
This is the first time such a center has been established in
Iran.
"The facility has been established due to spread of chemical and
nuclear industry in Iran's Isfahan province," Deputy rector of
Isfahan Medical University, Mohsen Moslehi said.
He said that there's no such center in the region, and Iran had to
build it by itself, relying on local experts, since other countries
did not help Iran in establishing such a facility.
The center currently has about 80 specialists, including doctors,
experts on nuclear medicine, along with general staff, all of which
are working in three shifts.
