Tajikistan named date of presidential election
The presidential elections in Tajikistan will take place on November 6.
The upper and lower chambers of the Tajik Parliament made a relevant decision at the joint session on August 30.
The proposal to hold the elections on November 6 was made by the lower chamber's speaker Shukurdjona Zukhurov and was supported by the majority of the deputies.
The elections will be held on the day of a public holiday - Constitution Day.
