Number of people drowned in Iran ups
During last three months, 259 people have drowned in Iran, ILNA
news agency reported referring to Iran's Medical Council.
According to the report, most of the drowning incidents recorded in
Khuzestan Gilan and Mazandaran provinces.
During last month (Jun 22- July 22), some 43 people have drowned in
the Caspian Sea, which indicates 2-fold of increase compared to the
same period last year, the report reads.
According to the reports, about 1,075 people have drowned in Iran
during last solar year (ended on March 21).
