Kyrgyzstan to put up Dastan torpedo plant for sale
The Kyrgyz Transnational Corporation Dastan will be put up for sale in autumn 2013, KyrTAG reported on July 3.
Local media reports that Russia will have a priority right for buying the shares.
Now the Kyrgyz government controls 48 percent of the Dastan shares.
But in autumn the government will have a right to sell 98 percent of the shares.
Dastan is the only torpedo producing plant for the CIS navy.
