Over 400 journalists to light presidential vote in Iran

421 journalists from 39 countries to light Iran's presidential elections, Mehr news agency reported, according to Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Culture Mohammad Naser Haghighat's speech.

According to him, in order to light the elections, 186 journalists of 86 foreign media from 28 countries have already been issued an entry visa to Iran. 235 journalists of 115 foreign media from 27 countries are the representatives of the foreign media, who have an office in Tehran.

Haghighat also added, in case of the second round of the presidential elections, the duration of entry visas might be extended, by the requests of the foreign media representatives.

Among the leading foreign media covering the presidential elections in Iran, Haghighat named Azerbaijan's Trend Agency, Germany's RTL, ARD, ZDS, Australia's ORF, Italy's STS, RAI, TG-2, Russia's Russia Today, REN TV, NTV and others.

The elections also to be lighted by the journalists from Japan, UK, UAE, France, Turkey, Iraq, Ukraine, USA, Syria, China and other countries.
