Euronest assembly rejects resolution on justice in Georgia

An urgent resolution on justice in Georgia was discussed at a meeting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of Euronest.

The meeting took place with participation of representatives of the parliaments of Eastern Partnership countries (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Ukraine). Georgia was represented by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on European Integration Victor Dolidze.

The meeting was initiated by the European People's Party and the National Movement of Georgia. Victor Dolidze made a speech on the text of the resolution, after which Euronest PA Bureau refused to pass the document for the discussion on the plenary session because it did not receive the two-thirds majority of the members of the bureau.
