FM says Iran reliable trade partner
Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has said that Iran has always been a reliable trade partner for other states, regional and neighboring countries in particular, IRNA news agency reported.
Salehi made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Turkish Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz.
Referring to important role Tehran and Ankara play in international arenas, Salehi said the West has no way but making interaction with Iran.
He further described Iran and Turkey as centers of thought, politics, economics and culture in the World of Islam.
Salehi expressed hope that the two countries would witness promotion of bilateral cooperation in all fields.
Yilmaz, for his part, said Iran and Turkey as two influential countries play key role in managing the current regional developments.
The two nations will not let their enemies sow discord among Islamic countries, the Turkish minister said.
Pointing to his constructive talks with the Iranian officials on various issues, Yilmaz expressed hope that the outcomes would lead to facilitation of trade exchanges between the two countries.
