Simplification of visa rules between Kyrgyzstan and Iran mulled in Bishkek
The issue of bilateral simplification of visa regime for citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Iran in order to enhance the tourism sectors and attract investments to the countries was discussed at a meeting of the Toraga (speaker) of Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of Kyrgyzstan Asylbek Jeenbekov and MP Nazarali Aripov with Iranian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ali Najafi Hoshrudi in Bishkek, Tazabek reported with reference to the press service of Jogorku Kenesh.
The Iranian side expressed interest in intensification of economic and trade relations between the two countries.
According to the speaker, it is necessary to increase the volume of economic and trade transactions and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran and in particular in the energy, agriculture and agro-processing projects, as well as medical tourism and industry.
The ambassador gave information about the program for the period of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.
